Hahahha - yes, he is. Christian Bale well and truly decimated his "cuddly child actor" image with his electrifying and disturbing performance in American Psycho!
You're welcome and thank you for visiting my gallery.Have you been able to locate all the Dark Knight Rises Movie Masters in Singapore? Here in the States it is difficult to locate Catwoman,John Blake, and Ras al ghul.
Hey, no worries. It's not been easy to find all of the figures here in Singapore - just like in your case, only Batman, Bane and sometimes Alfred are visible on the toy store pegs, and each MM figure costs the equivalent of USD $37, which is just nuts. Story goes like this: Bane and Alfred were Amazoned to my Mum's hotel room when she visited the States for a conference. Catwoman, Ra's and Blake were pleasantly surprising finds and an isolated sighting. I was so happy when I found them in a toy store in a local computer supplies mall, and got all three. So, I have all the TDKR figures apart from TDKR Batman, because I was reluctant to buy a duplicate of a figure I already have just to get the Bat-Signal part. So I have a mostly-complete Bat-signal that doesn't have the swivel bracket but works just okay!
That is awful.#37.00 will probably be the expected price here within the next year here at home as well with the economy and all.My local stores are overstocked with the Batman Movie Master and at $17.99 retail he will surely stay there.I am hoping he will go to discount because like you,I see no need for him other than completing the Signal.Congrats on finding those three!Does your Catwoman have the goggles up or down?I would be happy with either at this point. It's funny but after the inital release of TDK Movie Masters Joker,he was impossible here,up until the secind issue in about August 2008.Suddenly by the holidays you would trip over them in the aisles of retail chains.I hope Mattel (thru their Collectors Club) releases Amanda Blake, perhaps a prisoner Bruce, and even a Judge Scarecrow would be nice.
It is awful, and yeah, it is comforting (is that the right word?) to hear that other collectors are in the same position of not wanting to shell out for a Batman one already owns just to get the signal. Thanks for the congratulations! Finds like those and coming across something you've been looking for for a while really make the hobby for me. I bought the Goggles Up version, because I like to see the character's eyes and the detail on the mask under the goggles. I've heard that story about the MM Joker too, there was a mad rush to snap the figure up because of the buzz surrounding the character, and then demand died down a little. When you say Amanda Blake, do you mean Amanda (Blake) Waller, from the Green Lantern movies? Oh yes, a Judge Scarecrow would be ideal, I made a custom action figure of just that! [link] It would be great if you could check it out and tell me what you think. But everyone really, really wants Mattel to do a Lucius! Come on, give us some Morgan Freeman-ness! We already have Michael Caine as Alfred, how hard can it be to give us good ole Mr Fox?
