Imperial Royal Guard

I've always thought that the image of the Imperial Royal Guards from Star Wars Episode VI: The Return of the Jedi was striking and powerful. I love the splash of red in the predominantly white, grey and black palette of the Galactic Empire. I also liked how imposing the guards were without having to say a word or do anything other than stand around the Emperor. Artistically, this piece gave me a chance to practise reflective and cloth-texture surfaces in the same drawing.
